Things are progressing nicely. Both dogs have gotten used to each other and into their routine. Diamond continues to entertain us with her tricks and antics (I have heard that is the poodle in her). She is such a nice little dog - knows all of her basic commands. Sit, stay, go in the house, outside, but has a little bit of a challenge when calling her. She has, however, put her paw down with sleeping in her crate at night. It's only fair. Grimsby has never liked his crate and even being in a room with Diamond in her crate with him loose, was not happy. He would run and hide at bedtime, so decided to see if he could be a good boy by himself. He has come a long way with his potty training, but was still worried about leaving him out. He was a wonderful boy! Came into our bedroom and slept on a small couch we have in there. No accidents. No problems at all. Now he has transferred to being my foot warmer.

 Well, Diamond put up with this for a couple of weeks and then one night caused such a racked in her crate I rushed out to see if she was ok. Oh she was ok alright, just protesting the equal rights thing. She won and has been wonderful in our room ever since. She has never had an accident in the house.
