Septebmer 15, 2013 Never A Dull Moment

After coming home from grocery shopping, I decided to go to the garden and pick any tomatoes that were ripening.  Some of them are so big that they get too heavy for the vines and fall off and then before you get them, they start to rot.  Because they weren't entirely ripe, I set them on my dinette window sill in the sun.

Mysteriously, these tomatoes started to disappear from the window sill and appear in other spots in the house, like the living room, bathroom, sunroom.   Hmmm.  Decided to see if I could figure out who was doing this - didn't take too long.  Just had to look for a few clues.

Some dogs, like Diamond, could
look me straight in the eye.  Whereas
other dogs, like Grimsby, had a little
trouble with that.  In fact, he actually
looked a little guilty.

The tomatoes weren't eaten, just had a lot of
holes from teeth in them, so couldn't tell - no tomatoe breath!

Mystery solved.  Tomatoe seeds somehow
showed up in the white hair on Grimsby's chin.
